We add practical allowance for solar panels because real production is affected by dust, roof direction, shade, cable distance, heat, weak sunlight hours, and the extra energy needed to recharge batteries.

We size the inverter with breathing space so it is not operating continuously at its limit, especially with mixed home loads and appliances that may start at the same time.
